Just like Capri, the Amalfi Coast is worldwide known as a pleasure ground, a fabulous mix of breathtaking landscapes, delicious traditional Italian food, enchanted villages, pristine clear waters, art and cultural landmarks and glamorous events. It’s a place of forested mountains and hills of lemon groves, where you can regenerate yourself, get a stroll in the historic center of each town, sipping an aperitif or enjoying a glass of Prosecco. Experience the Dolce Vita lifestyle!
Are you ready to sail? This description of the tour that you’re bound to read is just an example: you can customize your tour according to your needs and wishes. So please contact us to explain your project, together we will design the best day of your life.
After sailing from Marina Grande we will meet the enticing Marine Park of Punta Campanella, part of the Sorrentine peninsula. It’s a great spot to stop and swim: if you’re lucky you can meet some dolphins, octopus and starfishes! All this area, called also Ieranto Bay, is famous for the clear water and that’s why this is a perfect point to snorkeling.
The region of Punta Campanella was very important during the Greeks age, as demonstrated by the presence of the ruins of their temple to Athena.
Skirting the coastline we will admire the Crapolla Fjord and then the celebrated Li Galli islets. The legends tells that here lived (or live…?) the sirens, the same encountered by Ulysses during his adventure. On the largest of these islands you can admire the villa owned by the Russian dancer Rudolph Nurejev.
We will stop then at Positano port, where you will have some free time to take a stroll in the historic city and discover its treasures. You are in “The Pearl of the Coast” so lose yourself in the narrow streets and visit the several craftsmen shops: you will fall in love with the ceramic artworks, leather goods and paintings. If you want to have lunch here we can suggest some traditional restaurant you will surely appreciate (what do you like most, pizza or sea food dishes?).
Have a toast with a Limoncello glass and live to the fullest every second of your dreamlike vacation.
We will skirt the coastline, meeting Praiano and Conca dei Marini, and then we will arrive to Amalfi, the biggest city of the Amalfi Coast, the oldest Marine Republic of Italy.
We absolutely recommend to visit the Cathedral and the Cloister of Paradise. If you want you can find yourself immerse in the lush nature visiting the Valle delle Ferriere, among villas, cultivations, natural waterfalls, emon groves and ruined historic water mills that used to power the paper industry in the ancient times… Here’s the most bucolic side of the Amalfi Coast!
If you wish to have dinner in Amalfi… how about a pizza margherita? We can recommend our favorites, if you wish.
Are you ready to enjoy this adventure? It will be simply surprising, prepare yourself to the best holiday ever!
