ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT MODEL: WEBSITE AND MOBILE APPLICATION FOR ENTITIES REFERRED TO IN ART. 3, PARAGRAPH 1-BIS OF LAW NO. 4 OF JANUARY 9,

Restart SRL is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with Law No. 4 of January 9, 2004, Art. 3, paragraph 1-bis. This accessibility statement applies to the website: https://www.restartboat.it/

COMPLIANCE STATUS

This website is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements established by current legislation and the UNI CEI EN 301549:2022 standard, due to the non-compliances and justified exemptions for disproportionate burden as provided for by Art. 3-ter of Law 4/2004.

Partially Compliant Content

The following features are only partially compliant:

1.4.4 Resize Text – Text may not always adapt correctly when enlarged, though it generally remains legible and accessible.
2.5.3 Label in Name – Some commands or buttons may have a visual label that differs from the name used by screen readers, though the function remains partially understandable.
2.4.1 Bypass Blocks – Mechanisms for skipping repetitive blocks may not always be available or easily identifiable, though navigation remains partially manageable.
4.1.3 Status Messages – Certain status messages, such as confirmations or errors, may not always be correctly announced by screen readers, but the information remains partially accessible.
2.4.6 Headings and Labels – Labels may not be fully clear or consistent with intentions, but this does not severely compromise the understanding of functions or actions to be performed.
•  3.3.1 Error Identification – Errors may be identified, but messages might not be fully clear or detailed, without entirely compromising the user's ability to understand the error.
• 2.1.2 No Keyboard Trap – Some elements may not allow full management via keyboard, but they do not entirely block navigation.

Non-Compliant Content

The following features are non-compliant:

1.3.1 Info and Relationships – Structural information may not be recognizable or correctly linked, making the page difficult to use with assistive technologies.
1.4.1 Use of Color – Color may be the sole means of conveying essential information, creating difficulties for users relying on assistive technologies or those with color perception deficiencies.
1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum) – Much of the text or visual elements may have insufficient contrast against the background, significantly compromising readability for users with visual impairments or low vision.
1.3.5 Identify Input Purpose – Input fields may lack attributes defining their purpose, making autocomplete and content comprehension difficult for users and assistive technologies.
1.4.5 Images of Text – Textual information may be displayed only as images, making it difficult or impossible to read with magnifiers or screen readers.
2.4.7 Focus Visible – The focus indicator may not be visible during keyboard navigation, making it difficult to determine the current position on the page.
4.1.1 Parsing – The code may contain significant or frequent errors, risking the correct reading of content by assistive tools.
2.4.4 Link Purpose (In Context) – Several links may not clearly indicate their destination, even when reading the surrounding text, causing confusion for assistive technology users.
3.3.2 Labels or Instructions – Labels or instructions may be absent or unclear, making the correct entry of information difficult or uncertain for some users.
1.4.11 Non-text Contrast – Many graphic or interactive elements may have insufficient contrast, making them hard to distinguish, especially for users with visual impairments.
4.1.2 Name, Role, Value – Many interactive elements may not provide correct information regarding name, role, or value, hindering interaction for those using assistive technologies.
3.1.1 Language of Page – The page may not specify the primary language, causing pronunciation and comprehension issues for screen reader users.
1.1.1 Non-text Content – Non-text content may lack a text alternative, making it entirely inaccessible to those who cannot perceive it visually or through other senses.
1.4.12 Text Spacing – Text spacing may not be adjustable, making reading difficult for users who require greater separation between characters or lines.
1.4.13 Content on Hover or Focus – Some content may only be visible via hover or focus, making information access impossible for users relying on assistive technologies who cannot interact via mouse.
1.4.10 Reflow – Reflow may occur without notice or control, making it difficult for assistive technology users to follow or understand content changes.
3.3.3 Error Suggestion – Suggestions for errors may be absent or unclear, making it difficult for users relying on assistive technologies to identify and correct errors independently.
2.5.1 Pointer Gestures – Functions requiring pointer movements may not be usable by everyone, as they lack simpler or more accessible alternative modes.
2.4.3 Focus Order – The focus may move in a disorganized or unpredictable manner, making it difficult for keyboard-only users to orient themselves on the page.
2.1.1 Keyboard – Many features may not be usable with the keyboard alone, severely limiting accessibility for those who do not use a mouse.
2.2.1 Timing Adjustable – Content with time limits may not allow for adjustments, making it difficult or impossible for some users to complete activities.
1.3.2 Meaningful Sequence – The sequence of content may not follow a logical order, making comprehension difficult or confusing for screen reader or keyboard users.

JUSTIFICATION FOR DISPROPORTIONATE BURDEN

The necessary adjustments would require:

Specialized external interventions,
Significant financial investment,
Notable organizational impact, diverting resources from normal operations.

Therefore, at this stage, it is not sustainable to implement all required adjustments. However, we are committed to progressive improvement. Every intervention, update, or modification will be aimed at ensuring greater accessibility, consistent with the technical, financial, and organizational resources available to us.
