Ischia and Procida one day

The most relaxing day trip: Procida and Ischia in one day, the smallest and the biggest of the Phlegrean Islands, two outstanding gems in Italy.

A private driver, a member of our staff will meet you at the entrance of your hotel in Sorrento or in the surrounding area. He will take you directly to the port, where our boat and one of our highly selected English speaking skippers will welcome you on board, ready to sail.

While sailing towards Procida you will admire the beautiful Gulf of Naples, its unique colors and its magic natural environment, can you see the Mount Vesuvio?
Procida is a fascinating little island which has some of the most colorful houses in Italy, a surprising hidden treasure. Once in Marina Grande, at the port, take a look around. It seems like you’re entering in a past era. The harbor is peaceful, the sea and the landscape are simply breathtaking, some men are mendering the fishing nets right on the port while children are playing loudly. Notice, you won’t count more then ten tourists around, you can get the opportunity to explore Procida island as a local.

Take a stroll around and get some shots in front of the amazing pastel colored buildings, we suggest to walk for about 15 minutes and reach the fishing village named Corricella. Here the streets are very narrow and there is no traffic. It can be strange thinking about the life in Naples: you’re just 23 kilometers far from the Neapolitan coast!
We also recommend to visit Terra Murata, the fortified medieval stronghold which kept the people of Procida safe from the pirates. You can’t enter inside, but you can enjoy an enticing short walk and get the delightful sight of the panorama from the top.

Before heading to Ischia you can get your lunch in the port area, or get the occasion to dive in the pristine clear water, may be doing some snorkeling: here you can meet many species of fishes.
After Procida we will visit Ischia, a relatively large island, with six towns and many excellent hot springs. Your boat will dock to Ischia Port, where you will be fascinated by the historic center: take Via Roma and head to Piazza degli Eroi. Here get a coffe break end enjoy the soft, regenerating atmosphere.

After a pleasant stroll you should visit Ischia Ponte, the oldest village on the island. 

You can choose to live a wellness half-day in a thermal spa, or you can visit Lacco Ameno, an outstanding location famous in Italy for its “fungo” (mushroom), a green rock laying down into the sea, in front of the beach, the authentic symbol of this village.

You can drive across the six towns with a taxi or by tre traditional apecar, or you can opt for gat a boat tour around the Island, enjoying the caribbean sea.
